My work flows from an unrestricted, imaginative, fictional and surrealistic approach of anthropomorphic botanicals- often in the aesthetic of a vintage botanist illustration guide. This series of Sad, Strange Little Flowers present as objective observations of reality. Often, I enjoy pairing these creations with questions relating to their potential origins, dangers, and useful properties.
